This was taken on the 28th of January when my granddaughter, my little ballerina, performed as a little mushroom in Alice in Wonderland. I took several pictures but wasn't happy with any. I used a high ISO, just enough to get the right shutter speed for sharp pictures at least when the performers were not jumping and twirling very fast. I was also far away from the stage and was very disappointed with the overall sharpness of the pictures. Towards the end I captured these girls watching the rest of the performance and waiting for the final curtain call. It's not a very sharp picture but I liked the stream of light across the arch.
I like it, great colour contrasts and I like the light stream too. I know the disappointment too when you have an image in mind and just can’t bring it to fruition.
