I wanted a shot of Colin pancake tossing but he was far to vain to agree to me posting a photograph with him in it! So I decided to gather a number of 'tosses' from the evening and use a bit of 'Picmonkey' magic.
I have to say they were delicious, even the one that made the floor. Colin uses a Delia Smith recipe that includes melted butter and this year he 'off-roaded' from the recipe by adding a bit of lemon zest as well.
In my humble opinion, the best way to enjoy them is to add a little Tate & Lyle golden syrup across the pancake followed by a squeeze of fresh lemon. Then roll up, add a sprinkle of granulated sugar and more lemon juice and enjoy!! (Mmmmm… these weren't the Weight Watchers versions)
@barrowlane@axika Thank you all, they are really tasty but sadly it seems sort of wrong to have them at other times of the year! @busylady Ha! ha! I was careful about my key wording as I also upload my 365 pics to an album on Flickr and when I key-worded my pussy willow image (spring like etc.) it went rather viral with well over 1,600 hits in just a day or so!! @steampowered thank you too and for the battery advice, intrigued about the honeycomb thing!!
Hmmm....first, let me say that the photos are outstanding. I love the way you composed them. Next, they sound delicious! Ah, yes, regular pancakes in my house have been replaced with protein pancakes. Enjoy!
