10th March 2014

This is a grab shot of a stained glass window at Charing Cross hospital in Hammersmith. It is called 'Millennium New World One' and was created by Keith Grant in 1999. I must admit as hospitals go, it is not bad with a lot of open spaces, public art and cafes dotted around the place.

I thought it wouldn't be appropriate to take the 5D Mk 3 in when Colin was having his neurophysiology tests! - everything was ok apart from some carpel tunnel syndrome and it could have been a lot worse. Sigh of relief.
What a beautiful window, you have captured it beautifully

What's this neurophysiology? Must investigate! I love this window design - must be great to see it in a hospital!

That's a beautiful window. I'm glad the news about Colin was mostly good, that must be a relief for both of you!

@maggiemae it's to do with nerves (so we found out!) and as Colin's had quite a few back problems recently he had tests which involved passing low levels of electricity down his arms between acupuncture needles to check if his nerves have been affected by his neck and back problems. He came out looking like a pin cushion covered with plasters which I have been finding around the house as they drop off!! @tristansmum Luckily after all the angst of last year it looks like he should be able to avoid surgery for the foreseeable future and we can start planning trips again… I think!
