7th March 2016

Today it was beautiful and sunny so as I had been in front of the computer prepping South America images all day, we had a quick walk down to the lock for a breath of fresh air.

This is the remains of the Teddington Studios which had been the location over the years for many of the classic hit television series, especially comedies. It is being pulled down and new flats and apartments being built in its place. It is sad but the small plus point is that the stretch of river frontage in front of the studio will be opened to the public as part of the long term aim to create a completely walkable tow path alongside the river Thames.
Lovely comp and framing. I'm usually sad to see older buildings pulled down, especially those with historic significance.
