Despite my better judgement we headed into Kingston armed with our vouchers and I actually (for the first time) bought some things in the sales. I needed a new black jacket as mine has holes worn by my camera strap and I got one reduced by 50% at John Lewis. I was on a roll and went o not but a knife and frying pan from Bentalls.
When we got home we were just in time for the postman and he delivered a big box. Inside was a lovely selection of flowers so very carefully packed even with instructions how to arrange them. They were from Mum thanking us for for a lovely Christmas. They look beautiful and they have taken our poinsettias position in the fireplace.
