Despite our tiredness we had an early start although the benefit of going back 2 hours made it not seem too bad.
We travelled up town to meet Karen and Charley at London Zoo as Charley was attending our 18th birthday present from us - a day with the vets and nurses at the zoo to give an insight into a veterinary career.
Whilst she was learning we spent the day in the zoo and despite being the start of the school holiday, it was not too busy. I really enjoyed the day, especially the rainforest exhibit where the monkeys and tamarins run literally above you and there are no cages. It was incredibly cold though, especially compared to last week when we were wandering in the sun in Athens and eating lunch outside!
