Back to normality after the distraction of being away for the past few days. I had a flu jab booked for 10.30 in the morning at Boots and the pharmacist managed it so it was virtually painless. Colin was supposed to have his on Saturday but to at a precise time so the pharmacist managed to find him a cancellation at 11.45am so he could get it out the way.
In the afternoon we had an appointment with Thames Water to fit a water meter. We had spent some time clearing out the cupboard in case they needed access to the stop cock but in the event the engineer did not even need to come inside the house. He fitted the meter in less than ten minutes and it is very neat and should be easy to read.
I ordered another five picture frames from Kenro in Swindon and also the excellent article written by myself and pracied by someone at ETNA went live in the online TW1 magazine before it goes into hard copy print a little later this week.
