Christmas Day

At last, after much preparation we are here. I was down in the spare room again as Colin is still suffering and the snoring is somewhere around 90 decibels. We managed breakfast before presents and opened Pingado’s presents which seems to have been very busy shopping with sugar mice for Colin and chocolates for me!

Afterwards we opened presents and I have got some lovely presents including a stunning silver pendant and matching earring form our local jeweller Lawrence. I think Colin was happy with his which includes a gliding lesson and a latte art course.

Another part of Christmas that is a new custom - taking LFTs to check we are both Covid clear which luckily we are!

We had a light lunch of some of the salmon that was left before packing up the car and heading over to Karen and Ian’s. It is always a pleasure driving on Christmas Day as the traffic is so light. We had Christmas dinner at about 5.00pm and I was stuffed afterwards. Rather too generous a portion but I ate it all and suffered a painful stomach later in the evening which was self inflicted! We played Articulate and Logos which was funned lost both games - I think our questions were rigged.

There was a lot going on so we will exchange our presents tomorrow when there is more time.

Happy Christmas everyone.
