A quiet day today. I framed Izzy’s birthday print and made up a voucher for Charles 21st birthday this coming Monday. I changed the watch in battery in Colin’s watch which probably saved £10 or so!
Later in the afternoon I decided to try and use all of the vegetables we had bought as a standby Christmas in case for any reason we couldn’t go to Karen and Ian’s. As both our Christmas and New Year went to plan they stayed in the fridge. So this evening we had Christmas ‘part deux’ - roast ‘rolled three bird’, roast potatoes, roast parsnip and carrots with honey and sesames seeds, stuffing balls, sprouts finished off with butter with pancetta, home made cranberry sauce and gravy. We quaffed a bottle of our favourite Campo Viejo as well. Very nice.
