19th January 2022

1 year, 290 since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020.

First thing this morning I went to Waterstones in Teddington and swapped in cards with the remains Christmas stock so now we are all back to normal there.

My first hair trim of 2022 over at Steph’s later in the morning and it was good to catch up with her and hear all about her trip to Dubai over Christmas. I also always like playing with her two Yorkshire Terriers - Chester and Harper Kevin (don’t ask!).

After lunch it was braving the traffic and an unexpected road closure to drive to Richmond to restock the very depleted spinner. It looks so much better. We also stopped in Twickenham on the way back so I could count the cards there. They too have many gaps in their designs but nobody could find the Christmas cards off display so I have no idea how many I will be invoicing for. I have written a grovelling email to the Manager after all the confrontation of last year so I’ll sit and wait for a reply to that.
