2 years and 13 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
It was a full on day today and I knew it would be. I had to write the instructions for using the card reader that I have bought for my Club, I have already done the complicated part of setting up an account and linking it to the club bank account but these instructions need to be fool proof to enable anybody to be able to use it! It took a long time and I decided to include photos of the various screens as well.
After writing my guide I went to the Landmark Centre to try it out and to link it to the wifi. It seems to work very well… fingers crossed that this keeps up during the show. In the course of the day I also got a card order via my website which is good as it justifies its existence!
In the evening I drove over to St Lukes as this is to be the last hybrid meeting we are broadcasting. Although numbers are increasing, I wonder if this will finally push people into coming back. It was a speaker we have had a few times before and she is very good although yet again there were issues with connectivity and with this eon Zoom. I ended up loaning my mobile which as a lot of feee data to try and salvage the evening. in the end it all worked out and we even finished a bit early.
