First day of November and we headed off to Richmond to collect my glasses from Specsavers. I was a bit worried as I have not had a great experience with the last optician. It’s early days but these new glasses (two for the price of one) seem much better than the last ones which is a big relief.
To celebrate my glasses we headed to our favourite cafe Alianti and I kick myself fro not getting a photo as a man came I n for a coffee and cake to take out… with a large grey parrot on his shoulder which proceeded to tap on the glass protecting the cakes whilst waiting. In true British fashion we all kept drinking our coffees as if this was a perfectly normal thing!
The rain started again so we he headed back home (with glasses) and I spent the afternoon sending emails to all fifty four of the councillors who addresses and details I had put together yesterday. This raised some sales vey quickly so it was well worth the time.
