We had to get up early today to take the car over to the dealers for it’s first service. It was a nightmare journey with a lot of diversions and heavy traffic. We made it at last and left the car having pre-booked a courtesy car. We were rather disappointed with the courtesy car - I had expected something rather posh to persuade us to upgrade if and when we come to get a new car - this was a low grade model!
After the journey we had, it was back to the Chessington Garden Centre for a cooked breakfast!
In between dropping off the car and returning it I managed to deliver a couple of calendar orders. The journey back was not as bad as in the morning but we were rather disappointed that the intermittent problem with the wing mirror had not been fixed despite Colin contacting the engineer to order the part for the door.
