It was really hot again today to I stayed in the cool and made-up over 120 cards for delivery over the next couple of days. I also finally got around to attempting to recreate a photograph that Mum had taken of my youngest sister Sophie when she was only four years old up a ladder against the sunflower she had grown from seed.
My sunflower was actually grown by Chris from seed but we have been looking after them since he gave them to us at only about 2-3 feet high. Mine is now flowering and it has reached the amazing height of 9.5 fee or nearly three meters - much taller than Sophies!!
In the evening we treated ourselves to the remains of the venison in the freezer from Christmas day. It was delicious and we even found some of the red wine and blackberry sauce that Colin had made. I made roasties. To be honest, I think we defrosted a bit too much so we were both very full. We definitely need to start cutting back and losing some weight!
