After the palaver of yesterday, I never in fact made it to Waterstones in Teddington so I put that right today. The imager there is impressed with my new card designs and basically suggests that I stock them all once I have placed and received a print run. Onto the library to renew my Richmond card and take out some nooks on Greece and the Islands… we are considering booking a cruise in October… 2025! This will be my present to Colin for his 80th. I booked a cruise to Greenland for his 60th all the way back in 2006 and this one goes to Ephesus which I’ve been to and he hasn’t and to Santorini which he’s been to and I haven’t. It started from Athens so I’ll add a couple of nights there so we can visit the archaeological museum which we didn’t have time for before.
I spotted these beautiful agapanthus flowers (one of my favourite flowers) outside of Elmfield House on my way home to write an appeal against yesterdays parking ticket! Even if it fails, I’ve got it out of my system.
The day finished dup with our roofer Daniel coming to finish off a few odds and ends and to collect the sacks of rubble he had created - he’s a nice guy and seems to have made a good job of the roof repair. We’ll only know how good though when the next downpour arrives!
