Thank you both. We had limited time this morning before we dove back home from Cornwall and my Mum's irises really stood out in her courtyard garden. As light was low I went for a f2.8 aperture for more light and so got a nice narrow depth of field (sadly had to use a 320 ISO so not quite as crisp as I wanted)
