Still life - OK so I admit I had some problems finding both inspiration and light for todays photograph. It has been grey and dull and the High Street offered few ideas to me. I decided to make a still life using my favourite mask from Venice and a new scarf I got for Christmas . I'm pleased with the colours but hope you don't think its a 'cop out'!! I have to go up town tomorrow and so hope there will be considerably more 'material'.

I like how you've got just enough light coming off the mask, but you can still see the texture and light and shade on the scarf!

@maggiemae Thank you - the scarf is a lovely present from my step-daughter and a much better background than the cream sofa I was arranging everything on!
