After many months of planning and a busy couple of weeks of final preparations, we are leaving for South East Asia this evening. Flying first to Bangkok, then onto Burma (bit I’m really excited about), down to Malaysia and finishing up in Singapore. There was very limited time for photographs today, mainly as I have had to pack all my kit - but here is my trusty suitcase which has literally travelled the world. It’s nearly been sunk in the Andaman Sea, been dropped (by me) from a height in Lisbon and it is always a relief to see it has made the same journey as me when I rediscover it on the baggage reclaim belt!
To all my friends on the ‘365 Project’ (you all really feel like friends on this site) I promise I will continue taking a photograph a day but it is unlikely that I will be able to upload everyday, especially in Burma where 24-hour electricity is still a novelty in some places. (Note to self - remember to change camera clock and date!!). I am sorry as well if I cannot make as many comments on everyones excellent images, again down to time and connectivity. I’ll do my best to keep in touch... happy photographing everyone :-)
Hi Emma. You are one lucky lady and I am seriously jealous! I hope that you have an amazing and wonderful time and that you get thousands of fascinating photographs. BTW - love this one. The DoF is just so good.
Jealous. Have a wonderful trip. Best holiday I ever had was backpacking round Malaysia topping and tailing in Singapore. I'd love to see more of that part of the world. Enjoy!
