7th February 2013

I’m up in the air with the time-zones - it’s 12am here and we’ve not really slept for 36 hours, just about to go to bed.

I took this out of the plane window earlier today as we flew over Pakistan, near the border with India. I wanted more of the plane wing in shot but as everyone was asleep with the blinds pulled down this was the best angle I could manage without disturbing everyone.

I had thought about this shot before we departed as it is my birthday today and I wanted something a bit different!

N.B. The metadata says 11.28am but as I had already set the camera to the time in Bangkok it was actually taken at 4.28am (guess who can't sleep on a plane)
Nice photo, a bit of a different take on landscape photograph

@whdphotog @steampowered @nicolaeastwood @brav Thank you, not a clever shot but I love the topography, I always enjoyed geography at school and here it is for real looking bringing alive all the dry books we had to study!

Wow. I spent a week in Jaisalmer many moons ago, near the Pakistani border, somewhere in that desert. It was awesomely HOT.
