Our last destination before the start of our return journey to the UK - Singapore. Another excellent city for night photography but a bit of a culture shock after being in the jungle.
This is the Helix Bridge, only opened in 2010 crossing the bay to link the various marinas in Singapore bay. It is the only bridge in the world to be built with a spiral helix design representing DNA.
The building in the distance is the Marina Bay Sands hotel with its amazing ‘skypark’ set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform - wow!!
@maggiemae It certainly is with an amazing overhanging roof - are you staying here? There is a massive shopping mall underneath and a light show at the front over the harbour twice a night. It is the cleanest city we have ever visited!
@danette@helixconcepts@alisonp Thank you all and for the 'faves', apologies for a lack of comments and likes on your projects but we've had intermittent wifi - I'm looking forward to having a look over the next week as we are currently waiting for our flight back to the UK here at Bangkok airport!
