This is a Mute Swan in Bushy Park at 6.30am. I was on the return home after a trip to Gatwick to drop my Mum and her friend for a flight. This required a 4.15am alarm. Somehow, this totally unsociable time does not feel so bad when we are in foreign climes, and the temperature is hot - when it is 3.5 degrees and there is frost on the car roof it is not good.
However, I had decided in advance to get my 365 for the day in Bushy Park and had hoped for either a dramatic sunrise or low mist - there was neither so a stretching swan by the Diana Fountain was next best thing.
