This is a celebration of my day at Chelsea Flower Show. I was very lucky to be invited to take photographs for 'First Touch', the charity for St George's hospital neonatal unit. I am godmother to Sarah and Patrick Collins daughter who was cared for at the unit when she was born 3-months early.
Sarah is now the charity director and Patrick (a three time gold medal winner at Chelsea) has created a garden specifically for the charity to raise awareness of the excellent work it undertakes.
Monday is officially Press Day, the day that Her Majesty and other Royals visit and also a lot of celebrities. The main photograph is of my friends Patrick and Sarah along with the patrons of the charity who also appear in the 'celebrity' images around the edge.

What a great collage of smiling faces, and the story behind it is very interesting. Congratulations on taking photos for the neonatal unit, but I'm sure it wasn't luck, it was talent which got you there. Will you be taking photos of the flowers?
Wonderful collage!! How great to be there with your friends today!! Lovely for you to be able to take the official photos!! Did you just do people or did you take flowers too?
@jantan@simster It was a brilliant time, thank you to my friends Sarah and Patrick who invited me to take photos @tristansmum It was quite busy with a lot of Press attending so I was working to hand out publicity material etc. so I missed a lot of gardens but it was amazing
@nicolaeastwood I think tomorrows image is going to feel very dull compared to today whatever it is! It was one of the most enjoyable photographic projects I've had for ages. Enjoy tomorrow, I can't wait to see your photo... will it be of a medal certificate?? Fingers crossed.
@pamknowler I do feel guilty but apart from a few random photographs it was mostly 'celebs' and the First Touch garden, all non designers had to leave at 3.30pm before the Queen arrived - she visited the garden specially during her visit.
