Once in a blue moon there is a really good bit of news.
Today, after months of hard work the 'First Touch' charity garden that I was photographing yesterday at Chelsea Flower Show ( http://365project.org/emmadurnford/365/2013-05-20) won a GOLD medal. This is fantastic, Patrick Collins the designer is now a 4-time gold medal winner at Chelsea.
We saw in NZ, the first photos from the Chelsea which included a lot of photographers! You might have been in one! Amazing big moon- I'll have to examine your Exif!
@maggiemae I had a long blue top over a flowered (of course) tunic top!! The Exif does not show that I used my 70-200mm f/2.8 with a x2 extender, handheld (wedged against the window frame for stability!) :-)
Fantastic. Sounds as if you worked hard to get this. Love how you connected this to the news about the flower show - a super aspect on how to use photos to tell a story or hightlight one.
@pam1 Thanks Pam, I was a bit pushed for ideas when I noticed it was a clear evening and I just thought 'blue moon'!! It ties in well with events. It could still be better as I have seen some amazing images on 365 of the moon with so much detail. I need to study their Exif info for tips!!
Amazing shot!!
