Unloading clams (2) : shoveling the clams

Two sailors are shoveling the clams into big bags. This boat had got a total catch of 3.2 tons. The clams here were a type that we call "amandes de mer" in French, "littlenecks" in English. This is one of the very rare seafood products that the locals despise here in Brittany, so I am guessing that these clams will be sent to luxury seafood restaurants in Paris.
So much going on you can almost divide the scene into quarters,

They have really colour-coordinated their ship, even the rope and the mermaid are green ;).
