Bluebonnet Swamp by eudora

Bluebonnet Swamp

Southern swamps have the reputation of being infested with alligators, water moccasins and mosquitoes and peopled with guys like those on the TV show Swamp People (which I only watched once!) This is a small swamp in Baton Rouge. There are mosquitoes for sure, probably snakes and alligators, but also birds, foxes, wildflowers, school kids, naturalists and other photographers.
wonderful serene shot. Beautifully taken

Believe it or not, NJ has a swamp! Granted it's not as big as this one- but it's still a swamp. Lovely shot and I appreciate your narrative!
