I'm a nut about old Pentax film cameras, as long as they are cheap. My dream is to find a Pentax LX at a garage sale....
Every year a great organization in Baton Rouge, the Inner Wheel, has a huge rummage sale to benefit charities. People look forward to it all year. A couple of weeks ago I was one of those waiting for the doors to open at 7:30 am. My prize: a Pentax ME with a 50 mm/1.7 manual lens for $10, plus a couple of other cameras. The ME camera body looked great but has insurmountable (for me) issues. This photo was taken with the 50 mm lens (the 1970's version of a kit lens) mounted on my digital Pentax K-30. I think it's a keeper. And the $10 I spent goes to help people like autistic children.
