Aargh...

No need to comment. I am filling in gaps in November. I've spent way too much time editing this photo and I'm still not pleased. The trees look better in B&W, the house in color.

This is the ruin of Tezcuco Plantation in Darrow, Louisiana. It was once open for tours, dinners and overnight guests. I had visited several times, including once with my son during his Christmas break from college when we took photos with our film cameras 😃. Then one morning in 2002 we learned that it had burned. The guests all escaped, but the main house was completely destroyed. All that remains are foundation and columns.
On black it still sings! Fav!
