"It's a quilt!"

I was shooting this mural, in a busy commercial area of Baton Rouge, when a woman drove by, waved and pulled into her driveway nearby. She ran up to me shouting, "It's a quilt! I just noticed her skirt is a quilt!"

Hunh? She lives across the street but today she saw it in a different way. We talked a while and looked at it more closely. Glad she stopped. Glad I was there.

It's a beautiful painting- it's funny too when people have looked at something for long periods of time but not really seen them until you pull out your camera and start taking pictures. Good shot!
