I sooooo enjoyed our conversation today! Isn't it an odd feeling to stand at these battlefields now covered with wildflowers and beauty and think of the bloody battles that took place there? It's so disconnected- at least that's how I felt at Antitem.
@olivetreeann Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier. I enjoyed talking to you! I agree with you about battlefields. We visited Antietam a long time ago when lived in Virginia and my husband was reading Civil War books.
