Mardi Gras

This is a little embarrassing. . . . We WENT to our neighborhood Mardi Gras parade--something we look forward to all year--but it was so cold and the parade was late and we left early. My only photo isn't even of the parade but of a flamingo, a symbol of another Baton Rouge parade.

Things are so topsy turvy with our weather! It's too cold for you and our neighbor was out blowing leaves in a summer T-shirt the other day. I guess a flamingo shot is better than no shot- and I don't blame you a bit for wanting to be warm!
