Antelope Horns Milkweed by eudora

Antelope Horns Milkweed

One of those wildflowers that look pretty ordinary when viewed from a distance along the roadways, but is beautiful viewed up close. This photo was taken at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin. Some sites warn that it is toxic to dogs and horses, but other encourage growing it to attract monarch butterflies.
Well what ever it is rather pretty and a nice image

How pretty- I would imagine combining that with some milkweed would attract a lot of butterflies, not just the Monarchs. Good shot!
