My 16-year-old grandson is visiting this week. He has taken me to 2 shoe stores I did not know existed to show me Air Jordans that I had not thought of since his father was his age. A bit out of my price range! I told him to ask his Dad. He said Dad had already said no because his feet are still growing. But, he said, he is still wearing the same size he wore three months ago. I love this kid!
In all fairness, this was not the colorway he wanted, but I suggested it for Saints games. I remember ordering Pittsburgh Steelers shoes for his father from the Sears catalog for considerably less. But they weren't Air Jordans.
I like that proclamation in the upper corner on the tag- lavish lifestyle- boy they have that right! Considering these sneakers have probably about 20 dollars of material on them which is put together by mostly sweat-shop or indentured employees in Malaysia or some other country in that region I have to wonder where the calculation for such an outrageous cost comes in- oh well, enough of my soapbox. You do have to admire the teen logic timing- 3 months is an eternity for them- a blink of an eye for us!
