Today was my first day volunteering at the Companion Animal Alliance, the city's open-intake animal shelter. It's heartbreaking to see so many animals in need of homes (over 200 cats and almost 300 dogs) but it's also wonderful to watch people interact with the animals.

Wow- with that many animals there this seems nice and spacious for them and clean. They are doing a great job!
