A dusting of snow on my favorite mountain in southwest Colorado finally came toward the end of my fall color trip. This is Mt. Sneffels, the prominent mountain of the Sneffels Range in the Rocky Mountains of North America. This prominent 14,158-foot Fourteener is located in the Mount Sneffels Wilderness of Uncompahgre National Forest. It's commanding presence is one to be admired and photographed in its glory. I will post more of this mountain later, but wanted to share the dramatic clouds and snow covered layers.
