Taken last year as I was coming down the county road from Wood's Lake near Telluride, Colorado. I stopped to photograph these gorgeous aspen trees as the sun was casting a wonderful hue of golden light and the rich white trunks stood out in contrast playing with the afternoon light. One of my favorite parts of photographing fall color.. the golden leaves dancing in the light, the white trunks of the aspens dominating the forest, and the calmness of the moment filling my soul with joy.
