I am fortunate to live only a couple of miles from Long Island Sound. I headed out tonight in search of a sunset, but the Guilford town beach faces East. I watched this egret for a while as he fished just off shore. He was powering up to move to another spot when I snapped this picture. His move paid off; he caught an eel right afterwards.
