Due to a unusual computer glitch, I lost 40 photos that I shot at two local harvest festivals yesterday so I can't show you the alpacas or sheep or pumpkins. I stopped at the turtle pond on the way home and saw 4 painted turtles basking in the afternoon sun.
you've posted some wonderful turtle/pond pics. I've managed a few egg laying turtles but that's it, no pond shots! they slip into the water before I get a good shot. love the light and colours in this pic. cool duckweed, very pretty turtle.
@sunnygreenwood Thanks. There is a boardwalk above this area of the pond, so I can stick my long lens in between the slats of the fence and brace it in lieu of a tripod. You are far enough away so they aren't disturbed.
Oh no! Did you already format the card? Are they really gone? I know Carla sent her card away to a company and they got them back. They were of a baptism
