Beech Leaves by falcon11

Beech Leaves

I walked the long trail with my mother today through her wooded property. She is 85 and is still globe-trotting, so I am planning on a good long life. The fading afternoon light illuminated these beech leaves.
Wow they look great though, awesome capture!

The leaf colour works so well with the muted background, and the diagonal arrangement adds extra strength. These beautiful leaves have a delicate, crispyness which is well caught. I love the abstracted shapes that the light makes on these leaves.
