The Beggar

This crow was cawing in my face and rooting around in the trash can for some food. A man on the dock offered him some fresh squid, but he wasn't interested. Guess he prefers french fries. Please view large.

A note: Please forgive me if I don't comment on each and every post. Sometimes it takes 30+ seconds to load a comment or photo, and I have to give up. It isn't my internet connection. Is anyone else having this problem?

awesome details! it's very hard to get details like this on black feathers and you've done it amazingly well. my computer is slow tonight too ... it always seems slow on sundays for some reason.

Wow - so much detail in this shot - I can even see an expression on his face. Allison, I have the slow loading problem with this site. Plus I receive a email when someone comments on one of my shots but not when they reply to a comment I have made - maybe I can change a setting(?)
