Excellent choice, Allison. The photo is striking in b&w. The layout of the big and small leaves is really good - flows so smoothly. Hope you'll show your other entries. I'm excited for you.
The composition is gorgeous, perfect. But, I saved this on my computer and adjusted levels (left and center sliders) in Photoshop Elements to darken it a bit. I liked it much better (I deleted the image when I was done with it) with blacker water. Remember, though, it is your image and your vision, so I encourage you to present this the way you like best.
