I finally got to get out there and try my new camera (Sony A6000). I am working on a series of ice abstracts and will post a few here. Let me know what you think.
You are sure having a wonderful start with that new camera (even though I use a Canon, I'm a big Sony fan). Love your details on the ice and that is some amazing clarity in the ice. Really did make a good abstract.
Great idea. I was looking for some ice in puddle shots the other day but didn't find any good ones. This one is great. I love the play of light and contrast. Wonderful lines and composition.
This is rich with pattern and texture. My eye goes from place to place, yet the centered sort of rectangle, with the smooth texture, makes a good focal point.
Was thinking about you today - gather you must be in the blizzard warning area?? Hope you keep power - that would be my biggest worry. Snow I like - the stuff they're talking about - Not! Stay warm and inside.
