Everything around here is white mid-winter with no end in sight, so it was most appropriate that my husband got me white roses for Valentine's Day (although I could have used a good shot of color!). I did a little practice with my new camera since the dangerous wind chills today put aside any thought of going out to shoot outdoors.

Got side tracked about the weather and didn't mention how much I love the detail in these roses. You can almost feel them - petals are so smooth looking yet you can see texture to them. Loving that new camera (camerawoman did a fine job, too!) Fav
