This great egret was strutting his stuff along the shoreline this morning. There were a lot of fishermen out, so he was likely looking for some tidbit to be thrown his way.
Great shot. Yeah, if there are fishermen around, they will usually hang close by to see if anything will be thrown their way. Blue Herons are the same way. Only, I think they may be a little braver and will walk right up to a bucket and grab a fish out of it.
