Last lambs born by farmreporter

Last lambs born

Finally finished this group.
Final tally for 30 ewes - 2 sets of quads, 6 sets of triplets, 8 twins, and WAAAY too many singles for a total of 56 lambs.
We now get a bit of a reprieve until the end of March when we move this group outside, clean out barn, and move the next group in to start lambing mid-April.
These lambs look small, but you would be amazed how quickly these guys grow. Mom will now get lots of grain to help them grow.
Beautiful and thanks for sharing the tally.

Quads - how on earth does the poor ewe feed them all? Or do you attempt to pair them on to one of the ewes with a single?

They are adorable! We're paired up for get-pushed so my challenge is B&W self portrait. =)

The last lamb born is a big relief! Love this photo of mom and the babies! The lambs have such great ears!
