Lots of lambs by farmreporter

Lots of lambs

I don't know why, but lambs like to rest in a tight bunch up along the wall of their pen.
This is just one group of the lambs born between February 2nd and February 25th.
There is another bunch in the middle of the pen, and yet another group at the opposite end of the pen.
Girls have the blue tags with mom's number, and boys have the yellow ones that are required when they get sold.
very cute

Wow! You have a lot of lambs! These are adorable! What kind of sheep are they?

These are out of Rideau-Arcott ewes crossed with a Dorset ram. We will be keeping these girls to breed with our
Texel ram, who is the terminal sire.
All babies, girls and boys, from the Texel ram will be sold.
