My peonies are loaded with ants stealing the nectar to bring back to their hills.
They remind me of the story about the ant and the grasshopper, and how the ant had worked the summer away in order to have enough food for winter as the grasshopper played the summer away. Soon it was winter, and the grasshopper regretted the choices he had made.
