The swallows are finally nesting in the barn. The nest is in an awkward place between two beams, which means I have to be fairly close to the nest to get a good shot. Mom would not stay in her nest even though I stayed as motionless as I could.
So, I resorted to taking some shots of the latest set of lambs,
These are the first set of babies from our Texel ram, and are so much different than the Dorset ones. These guys (and they are mostly boys) are little tanks compared to the Dorset lambs. They are so deep and thick in the body with short legs.
They are laughing! Good shot . . . I try for birds all of the time and it takes a hugh amount of time and patience . . . I usually give up and take pictures of things that don't move!
