I have been whining for eight years - yes - that is eight YEARS folks - about getting a tree stand put up on the edge of our wetland so I can go sit in it to relax, take in the peacefulness, and maybe get a shot of a duck, beaver, or deer.
Well, I got it today and went out late in the evening. Did not see anything so I snapped a picture of the tree it is in. It is a cedar about twelve feet up in the air.
And it has a great view!
Very nice Wendy. Nice lighting for an evening shot. Its not as easy to do. I think we'd like to see a photo of the tree stand. I can't picture what it looks like (pardon the pun).
@kathyladley It is awesome! The one I have is very easy to get into with a ladder, and has arm rests and rails so that it is very safe as well. It is rather late in the season for this year because many of our birds have migrated already, but I still like to sit in it for meditation.
Looking forward to next spring and summer!
A high seat! Great idea I see them in the woods which I assume are used by the local deer stalker. I would like to see a photo of yours to see if they make them the same as here.
Looking forward to next spring and summer!
