Spare Room

I did not have time to paint the pink walls before returning the spare room back into a guest room as soon as my daughter moved out.
One of Bruce's friends came for a visit - so I made the room as masculine as possible with a bearskin, (one of hubby's hunting trophies), a Daisy Red Rider BB gun, a bunch of Ducks Unlimited prints, and a masculine throw quilt.
It is still pink - but not quite as offensive to a male's eyes as it was!
I'll get the room painted a more uni-sex colour one of these days - but I think I will keep the outdoorsy hunting lodge theme.

I think men like a bit if pink now & again! A comfy bed is more important to them I think! Looks nice Wendy.

I think the pink makes an interesting backdrop for all the guy stuff. In any case, the bearskin trumps all.

Hi Wendy, you have some great animal photos, the place where you live looks beautiful. For your get pushed challenge I'd like you to try something I only saw once in your photos over the past couple of months - an abstract, macro shot (I liked the one you did of rhubarb). Does that sound OK?
