Everything Is Coming Up Roses

This has been such a wet and cold spring so far that all my flowers are behind.
This particular rose bush, like all my rose bushes, is loaded with buds about to open - if they do not rot from all the rain first!
I should not complain too loudly since I do not depend on my flower gardens for income like area farmers depend on their crops for income. Crops are just as far behind as my flowers are, and not all crops are even planted yet since fields are too soggy to get into.
I'm sure we will get a summer yet - but not for two weeks at least according to the long term weather forecast!
